India-Bhutan Youth Summit, October 2025
The Centre for Escalation of Peace (CEP), Royal Institute for Governance and Strategic Studies (RIGSS), India-Bhutan Foundation (IBF), and Pallavan Learning Systems (PLS) jointly organised the 4th India-Bhutan Youth Summit from 22–30 October 2025.
Held across Guwahati, Shillong, and Phuentsholing, the nine-day fellowship brought together 22 participants — 11 each from India and Bhutan — for a unique journey of learning, dialogue, and cross-cultural exchange. The Summit featured discussions on themes such as Global Issues, India-Bhutan Friendship, Youth Leadership, and Happiness and Gross National Happiness (GNH), interspersed with treks, community engagement, and cultural immersion.
Participants interacted with eminent personalities, explored sites of historical and social significance, and reflected deeply on the role of youth in fostering collaboration, sustainability, and wellbeing. The experience was enriched through activities such as team projects, reflective writing, and cultural performances, creating a strong sense of connection and shared purpose. The Summit concluded successfully with renewed friendship and understanding between the two nations.
