November 2016: India Bhutan Dialogue in Thimphu, Bhutan
The seventh round of the India-Bhutan Strategic Dialogue was convened by the Centre for Escalation of Peace in collaboration with the Royal Institute of Governance & Strategic Studies (RIGSS) and the Ananta Aspen Centre in Paro & Thimphu, Bhutan from 6 to 9 November 2016. The Dialogue was hosted under the banner of The Thimphu Seminars, There was high-level participation of individuals from both countries and the discussion focused on areas such as Development Cooperation, Financial Sector Cooperation, Ecological Services and Environmental Flows, Cross Border Ecological Conservation Issues, and People-to-People Relations. A closing dinner was hosted by H.E. Mr. Jaideep Sarkar, Ambassador of India to Bhutan.
